Trident Marketing, a multi-channel direct response company that performs customer acquisition for leading consumer brands in the United States, today announced Inc. magazine ranked the company No. 3245 on its sixth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Trident Marketing has been recognized as they join other prominent companies such as Yelp, yogurt maker Chobani, Giftcards.com, KIND and Lucid Technology featured on this year’s list.
“Our phenomenal growth over the past three years is a testament to the hard work of our integrated teams—from marketing and sales, to fulfillment and customer service. Dimension Data, a multi-billion dollar global IT solutions and services provider, today announced that Trident Marketing has enlisted Dimension Data's world-class customer interactive solutions group to design, build and support its mission-critical customer service platform.
A results-oriented sales, marketing and technology company of direct response marketers, Trident runs high-volume sales centers for customers such as DIRECTV, ADT and Travel Resorts of America. Due to tremendous business growth, the marketer was having difficulty handling the increasing call volume with its existing contact center system. Trident enlisted Dimension Data to deploy Cisco Customer Voice Portal (CVP) - a carrier-class Voice over IP (VoIP) interactive voice response solution. Dimension Data implemented the Cisco CVP solution with Trident's SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) trunking architecture, enabling Trident to expand its local number presence in U.S. markets, while equipping the center to more effectively handle surges in call volume. Trident also turned to Dimension Data to manage and monitor its communications infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime and disruption...[More]
Economy Slowly Rebounding
Signs of modest recovery are slowly emerging, but Moore County cannot expect a return to a normally robust economy for another couple of years.
Representatives from the major economy-driving engines offered some upbeat commentary but remained cautious in their projections last Thursday when they addressed the Moore County Board of Commissioners at an all-day business retreat.
The impact from the coming expansion of Fort Bragg as a result of BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) was among the key topics.
"It hasn't happened yet," said Ray Ogden about the highly publicized BRAC. "It's still hazy how it's going to play out here."
Ogden is executive director of Partners in Progress, a public/private partnership promoting economic development throughout Moore County.
Counties surrounding the sprawling Fort Bragg reservation have been girding for growth as the military base is expanding as a result of base closures elsewhere in the country. Expectations have been building up for the past four years, but the big push is yet to come.
However, Ogden did share plenty of good news.
